Classical guitar

Classical Guitar Rage I have recently taken to playing the classical guitar in an attempt to fill out on my desire to learn a musical instrument. Its amazing what a classical guitar can do. I am just starting out o my own, with notes borrowed here and there, asking people a little this and that, so far so good. The bean sprouts are making more sense to me than ever instead of looking like food or tadpoles strung on lines. I will most probably take lessons soon. Classical guitar lessons of course. There is a difference between classical guitar and the usual strumming and sing type. Whats the difference you ask? Let me educate you. Pop songs played on a classical/acoustic guitar are played by chords. Chords are usually played by strumming adjacent, separate or all of the strings. So songs that can be played by chords are usually easy and simple. Just remember your finger placing with respect to the chord and strum and sing. Not difficult to master if you ask me. Classical guitar pieces a...

Monotonous

Monotonous. Life (at least for mine) as I know it, has sort of fallen into monotony, a series of repeated actions. Each timed precisely, every time slot dedicated to doing a certain task. Bored? You cant deny the comfort that monotony brings. Its a bit like sitting in the middle of a round room, where everything is placed concentrically ( is there even such a form of this word?) from me. And I am placed right in the middle, all the things that I need are within reach, the most essential items, like toilet paper, food and water are the nearest to me. All I got to do is to just reach out slightly and get them. No surprises, no specials, just living in a concentrically decorated room. And slowly wait for what I know is in stored for me. Not that I do not appreciate stability, or do not enjoy smooth rides. But I feel like "more" should happen. Maybe at this age most people my generation feels like that. Adventure seeking, demanding almost instant gratification, dislike for slow t...

Wisdom Extraction

Wisdom Extraction. After two reschedules and 3 months, I finally got my wisdom extraction. Hmmm, wasn't as bad as I had anticipated it would be. The worst part has got to be the after math. The anesthesia injection felt other-worldly though, I could feel the liquid branching out into my veins, cold, slight discomfort, pulsating into my chin and cheeks. Once the anesthesia kicked in, everything was blurry. Just felt a lot of pressure, yanking, pushing, grunting, cracking. At one point, I felt weird. My head was spinning, everything was woozy, felt like I could dance on top of a small stool while balancing an elephant, all these while juggling 8 papayas. In short, I felt like a woozy idiot. Must have been the anesthesia. So now, I'm stuck with a swollen cheek that throbs with pain at night. Like real bad. The swelling only came 3 days after the operation. And for the first time in my life, I am having bad breadth. Why? Because the wound still seeps blood, but gets stuck in nooks ...

Song of the Moment!

Song of the Moment! I hear the ticking of the clock I'm lying here the room's pitch dark I wonder where you are tonight No answer on the telephone And the night goes by so very slow Oh I hope that it won't end though Alone... Till now I always got by on my own I never really cared until I met you And now it chills me to the bone How do I get you alone How do I get you alone You don't know how long I have wanted To touch your lips and hold you tight You don't know how long I have waited And I was going to tell you tonight But the secret is still my own And my love for you is still unknown Alone... Aahhh... aahhh... Till now I always got by on my own I never really cared until I met you And now it chills me to the bone How do I get you alone How do I get you alone Alone... alone... I hear the ticking of the clock I'm lying here the room's pitch dark

Pencil tips

The King! Saw. Loving you.... Time to work hard! Learning my ABCs 心有灵犀 Still remember the good days when pencils were widely used? I used them in my primary school days, scurrying forward to sharpen my pencil whenever it was blunt, even just by a little. I could never explain my obsession with pointy tips on pencils. It is a MUST HAVE. It was "uncool" if your tips were blunt and produced fat letters. We even used to compare the length of shavings, whose shavings were the longest. Like a proud artist comparing his works. I still have pencils with cool erasers attached to the end of pencils. Like Gandam ones, some animals etc. Never had the heart to use those. Never heart to use those with special prints either. Like doraemon, power rangers etc. It was the fad to have such "cool" pencils and pointy tips, UNTIL mechanical pencils like the SHAKER came and seize the minds of primary school kids by storm. But that, is another memory for another time.
