Commitment means to duty or pledge to something or someone, and can refer to:
when was the last time a great leader didn't use words to lead?
when was the last time a person didn't use words to describe how they felt?
when was the last time "words" weren't empowering?
and we can all recall the last time "words" were used to divide us and install fear...
- Personal commitment, interaction dominated by obligations. These obligations may be mutual, or self-imposed, or explicitly stated, or may not. Distinction is often made between commitment as a member of an organization (such as a sporting team, a religion, or as an employee), and a personal commitment, which is often a pledge or promise to ones' self for personal growth.
Is it really that hard for someone to keep dutifully to commitments? Something that you have made promise long ago, fiery, passionate and determined. But now, look at you, giving yourself excuses to squirm out of commitments. Are commitments really that intimidating?
It feels like a rubber band being stretched out too thin, reducing it to a fine red strand, almost white from the pulling at both ends, ready to snap from all the tension.
Most times, whether it lasts forever (cliche choice of word) depends largely on commitment, whether you feel the time spent is justified in gaining what you hope to achieve.
It frustrates me to a large extend that efforts are mostly unappreciated. They mostly wait around; for what to happen, I do not know, maybe if I can read minds, it'll be clearer to me.
Effort and Commitment, easy to say, but arduous to achieve.
Whatever.

On the other hand, its going to my one year anniversary in army!
Sounds trivial? Haha, perhaps, but not to those serving the nation.
Which brings me to the next point, its almost a year since it happened. I am not sure if things were to repeat itself, if a second chance presents itself.
Seems like only yesterday.
Round and round the events swirl, surfacing themselves, like staring at a blender at work.
Sometimes its like a carousel, spinning rapidly, you can pick up beautiful and intricate details if you followed it intently. But you get tired easily. You lose concentration and everything merges and becomes a mass of colours again.
Random fact: I cannot spell "field" and "spaghetti".
Random want: A Lomo camera!
Random read: when was the last time "words" weren't important?
