Realized its been quite some time since I logged in an entry.
Got to maintain my writings, not to let my writing skills degenerate!
Started work already, how I got it was quite an interesting story. But that is for another time.
I did not realize working was so tiring! Doing mostly typing, seated, fully air-conditioned and yet, I still feel drained.
Snoozing while standing on the train, snoozing in front of my computer, thinking of my bed while having dinner.
Guess I'm still not adjusted to this lifestyle yet, as opposed to sleeping till I wake up naturally.
Still feeling slightly awkward during lunches, meetings and what nots. They seem friendly and distant at the same time, its confusing me.
Wished there were more people around my age there in the office to balance out. I feel so young, so immature, so noob. Not a lot of relevant topics whatsoever with them.
But then again, it feeds me. So I guess that is the trade off?
But it saps time off from myself.
No time to enjoy leisurely jogs at 6pm.
No time to enjoy swims in the middle of the day where the pool's almost deserted, making me feel highly important and exclusive.
Instead I rush, like rush kind of rush home to change into running gear for a short run. By then it would already be around 7.30pm? And so so so exhausted from work, I can hardly run half my distance I normally do.
And if I fancy a swim, it'll be *insert expletive of choice* crowded at the public pools with kids learning swimming, losers that dont want to swim but want to take up lanes. More losers that swim the breadth of the pool rather than the length, ignoring any swimmers(like me) that are doing laps length-wise. You can swim breadth for all I care, but do you have to cut into my lane knowing that I am approaching you? Do you think your stubby legs, flabby arms and 2 sizes smaller swimming trunks can propel you 100 knots in the water darling? NO. FAT ASS, GET OUT OF MY WAY. my major peeve.
So yes. That ends my work life chronicles.
School's re-open for the girls, the guys ORD happily. Life's pretty much returned back to normal.
Past problems still unresolved.
New problems developed.
Feelings change.
New ties forged, old ones strengthened, some slipped while others tightened.
